A Sad Announcement It is with a deeply saddened heart that I share the news of the passing of our very dear friend and beloved schoolmate, Nelson Tsang 曾劍輝 He passed away peacefully on September 11, 2026 at 7:30 p.m. at Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Fremont. Nelson was a truly special person and a cherished friend to many of us. As thefounding president of our alumni association in 1999, he devoted tremendous time, energy, and heart to bringing our schoolmates together and building our alumni family.
On October 15, 2025, 13 alumni and their spouses had a joyous lunch with former teacher Tsoi HS Sir & Susanna (both 59FA) at Fu Lam Mum in Mountain View. The participants included 59FA (Louisa Leung , Ivy Mok & Rafael), 60FA (Roy Chan), 66FA (Wing Hui & Magdalen), 68FA (Philip Leung & Emily), 69 FA (Diana Lau, Doris Tse, Alex & Katherine Wong) and 73FA (Chuk Chow). The Tsoi’s came from Hong Kong for a class reunion on a Hawaiian cruise. They were staying in the Bay Area for a few days.
Anthony Leung, 梁雪平, of the class of 1962, and a longtime member and ex-BOD of the Association, passed away in his sleep on Saturday, August 27, 2022...
The Association is saddened to be the bearer of a piece of bad news. Lin Chua, 林礎, passed away February 10, 2022. Lin, of the class of 1959, lived in Cupertino, California and had been a long-time member ofQESAAUSA. He once served in the Board of Directors of the Association as the Membership Secretary in the Board (2001-2002)....

Dr. Tong Wai Ki was a QES 58FA alumnus. He was born in March 1939 and died on January 15, 2022 at the age of 82.
The Tong Family has been long time active supporters of the QES OSA, PTA, EPO and in education and community services for generation to generation. Many of them are QES alumni.
