Keith & Teresa Cho visited Dr. Hinton in London
Recently while in London, we met up with Mrs. Ma (wife of our late classmate Ma Wong-yee) who was very generous and gracious offering to drive us to visit Mr. Hinton (6 hours RT). We paid him a visit in his Senior apt and he was happy and excited to see us. He looked good and was able to take daily walk around his compound. He can even walk to the nearby bus stop to see his doctor. If possible, he would like to attend the QES 60th Anniversary in HK next year.
It was a really good visit.

Dear QES friends:
Those of us who have watched the US Navy Blue Angels Show must have been dazzled by their precision flying. Every October they come to San Francisco as part of the Fleet Week celebration. They also perform in other cities all over the country.
Our classmate, Clifford Cheng (62FA), has informed us that his son, Michael, has been selected as a Blue Angels officer. Thus he becomes the first Chinese American Blue Angel. Not only is his family justifiably proud of him, but I think the entire QESAAUSA should know about it and congratulate him and the Cheng family on Michael's accomplishments.
Please visit the Blue Angels website at http://www.blueangels.navy.mil/team/officers.aspx. The website has some demo videos that are extremely impressive. Enjoy!

Editor’s Notes:
The Order of the Bauhinia Star in Hong Kong was created in 1997 to replace the British honours system of the Order of the British Empire after the transfer of sovereignty to The People's Republic of China and the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR). The bronze Bauhinia Star is awarded to persons who have given outstanding service over a long period of time, but in a more limited field or way than that required for the Silver Bauhinia Star. |

"Yes,
