1st ever Majong Tournament
On that morning, the drizzle did not dampen the spirit of the contestants of our first ever Mahjong Tournament, who were beating the slow traffic on Highway 1 towards Moss Beach due to the Halloween pumpkin hunting crowds. We arrived at the location to find a pair of cute beach houses full of people (over 20).
After rounds of flavorful salads, pastas and goodies that catered to everyone’s taste, some of us took a stroll along the headland of the infamous Half Moon Bay to walk off the calories when the sun broke out from behind the clouds.
The tournament started in the afternoon with three tables of nine contestants and three guests while others explored the neighboring scenic sites and captured a postcard-shot of the beautiful sunset over the bay.
The event finished off with a sumptuous lobster dinner and irresistible desserts. Lin Chua did a great job with the lobsters!

"Dear members,
It was nice to see you and your guests in the Summer Picnic yesterday. Hope you all had a good time.
Thanks to all volunteers for setting and cleaning up, Donald Lam for taking a nice video and pictures to capture the moments of the day, as well as Mandick and Philip for your gift donations for the winning prize of Bingo and the grand prize of lucky draw, respectively.
Congratulations to all prize winners. For those who were not available to join us yesterday, we hope to see you in our future events. If you have taken some pictures in the picnic, please send them to Mandick. Thanks."

Thank you all for coming to the Annual Dinner on March 2, 2013. For those who could not attend this time, please join us in the future because you missed a lot of laughs and sharing of interesting stories by your alumni and their families.
We began with singing QES school song. Reports of last year's events were presented by each directors. Followed by the presentation of an appreciation present to the host Belinda Leung (represented by Louisa) of last year's first ever Mah Jong Tournament as well as prizes to the Champion Toni Ying, 1st Runner-up Agnes Leung, and 2nd Runner-up Vicky Sun (represented by Ed).
After enjoying a delicious meal, ballots of the election of board of directors for 2013-15 were collected and counted together with those received via email earlier. All nominees were elected. The Directors-elect are (in alphabetical order) Gavin Chan, Keith Cho, Louisa Leung, Bernice Ng, Susan Pan, Beth Pao, Peter Poon and Helios Tsoi. Congratulations and best wishes to all of you. Also congratulate all lucky winners in the lucky draw which wrapped up this year's Annual Dinner.
Finally, on behalf of the Board, thank you so much for your support in the past few years. We hope to see you next time.

"2012年是62屆同學50周年，在香港的同學在11月初舉辦了一連串慶祝活動，包括： 11月2至4曰前往廣東增城韶關觀光旅遊； 11月6日往長洲旅行； 及11月7日晚宴。
長洲之旅有廿多人參加。有多位同學勇敢地鑽入張保仔洞、並從另一洞口出來，身手不亞少年時。往後在海鮮舖買海鮮、讓酒家烹煮，享用了道地的海鮮餐。
晚宴出席共六十多人，其中包括專程從美國赴港的QESAAUSA會員Ben Choy蔡松光、Louisa Choy梁逸麗、S.F.Lo盧承福、Tak Ning寧德雄暨夫人、Paul Chung鍾耀奇、與Edward Sun孫忠耀暨夫人等。另有多位同學從加拿大、澳洲、紐西蘭、英國、荷蘭、星加波等地回港。
濟濟一堂、十分熱鬧。許多同學是50年來第一次重見，大家互相傾訴別後往事。是一場難以忘懷的盛會。
