Directors
- Alex, Crystal, Helios, Mandick, and Toni all expressed desire for retirement after current term is complete.
- Will need to recruit potential directors more actively.
- Constitution requires at least 6 directors.

Annual dinner review
- Food a lot worse than last year (can be considered awful)
- Will not use the same location next year
- Need to test food even if we have been there before
- Some member question the price difference between price for event/cost of food.
- Difference is for prizes
- Aim is to have balanced budget
- Net income ~$20
- Association can bear part of cost for events in the future. (Benefit of being a member)

Bimonthly dinner
- 5/19 Naan & Marsala
- Self-served (pay and food is delivered)
- Mandick has been there, and he enjoyed it
- RSVP by 5/16
- Dinner at 6-9pm
- No reservations required
- Send email out as soon as possible
- Will post on website after Mandick's return from vacation (5/9).
- 7/21 Korean (Tentatively Bab Sing, Fremont)
- Will send out save the date email only

Summer Picnic
- Possible locations

- Familiar environment
- Been there a few times in recent years
- Have facilities that allow bringing food or cooking food there
- Belmont Twin Pines Park
- Convenient
- Many picnic tables (some with small grills)
- Reservations possible
- Hakone Garden
- Only a few picnic tables (no reservations allowed)
- Free parking
- Entrance Fees ($7, $5 for seniors/5-17)
- Not very suitable as summer picnic location
- Will consider for some other event
- Kelly Park
- $6 per car for parking
- Small zoo (extra charge)
- Japanese Garden available
- Very crowded during summer weekends
- Lake Elizabeth
- Bigger location
- Currently under construction
- Will consider next time
- Decided to go to Belmont Twin Pines Park
