I was very impressed with our former English teacher, Mrs. Lily Chang, nicknamed the "Shanghai Lady", so much so that I married my university schoolmate who was born in Shanghai and I named my only daughter "Lillian". I hope to visit Mrs. Chang someday to pay my respects for her enlightening and no non-sense teaching. After all, we are part of her "products" and she is one of the masters who shaped us.
